Job Description:
As a Product Manager at Gesture, you will be a crucial part of our product development team, responsible for shaping and delivering exceptional digital experiences to our customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and operations, to drive the development of innovative features and improvements to our platform.
Responsibilities:
Product Strategy:
- Define and execute the product strategy in alignment with the overall company goals.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define the product roadmap and prioritize features.
Product Development:
- Lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, to develop and launch high-quality products.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure timely delivery of features and updates.
- Gather and prioritize product requirements, balancing customer needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
Feature Prioritization and Roadmap:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements.
- Create and manage the product roadmap, balancing short-term deliverables with long-term strategic goals.
User Experience and Design:
- Champion a user-centric approach to product development, ensuring that features are intuitive and aligned with user needs.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create and iterate on wireframes and designs.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Utilize data analytics and user feedback to make informed decisions and continuously improve product performance.
- Define and track key product metrics, using insights to guide future enhancements.
Communication:
- Communicate product plans, progress, and results to internal teams and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop effective product messaging and go-to-market strategies.
Quality Assurance:
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure products meet high standards of quality and reliability.
- Address and prioritize bug fixes and improvements based on user feedback and testing results.
Agile Development:
- Implement and advocate for agile development methodologies to enable quick response to market changes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably in a startup environment.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products throughout their lifecycle.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
