About The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Representative Intern to join our team, focusing on field lead generation. This internship offers hands-on experience in identifying and generating new business opportunities through direct interaction with potential clients. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about meeting people, building relationships, and contributing to the growth of the company.
Responsibilities:
Conduct field research and market analysis to identify potential leads and business opportunities
Engage with prospects at in-person events, conferences, and networking opportunities to introduce Gesture’s services and generate interest.
Collect and qualify leads through face-to-face interactions, gathering essential contact information for follow-up.
Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure leads are captured, tracked, and nurtured through the sales pipeline.
Assist in setting up and attending field-based lead generation events, pop-ups, and activations.
Provide feedback to the team on market trends, competitor activity, and potential sales opportunities discovered in the field.
Support the creation of field marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and presentations.
Collaborate with the internal team to ensure seamless transition of leads to the next phase of the sales process.
Help to set up in-office and local networking events.
Assist in pulling together customer campaigns in-house for fulfillment
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to approach and engage with potential clients in person.
Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills.
Strong interest in business development, sales, and relationship building.
Willingness to travel locally and attend in-person events.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities.
Prior experience in sales, customer service, or lead generation is a plus

Gesture is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $1,600 - $2,000 monthly. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant coursework, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
